We have all heard the old saying that March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. What the heck is that about. Have you ever wondered if it is true? Well, my friends at the National weather service did research on over 100 years of records and they found out that yes indeed March typically ends on a gentle note. Here are the results of records going all the way back to 1872.
Ironically, research on March first also reveals that nearly 70% of the time March comes in like a lamb. Say it ain’t so! So if you really want to be accurate around here, next year make sure you say, “March comes in like a lamb and goes out like one too”.
Hear me roar!!!!!!!!!
