FOR WEDNESDAY JANUARY 6TH
Knowing that you lead a fast paced life the hazard outlook is a feature designed by Terry to to give you a quick overview of how good (or bad) the days weather will be. If you see the dog in the house you can assume we've got serious weather issues. The 4 hazard levels are detailed in the read more section.
NONE: Looking good, smooth sailing, probably plenty of sunshine, the weather will not be an issue.
LOW: Most likely some sort of light rain/snow is expected. Could be another element such as wind. Mainly it's what I call inconvenient weather.
MODERATE: This type of weather will have a significant impact on your day or immediate future. Most likely a pretty good sized storm will be involved. You will probably need to develop your plans around the weather.
HIGH: You will not see this hazard more than 10 times a year. It should get your attention as it implies a major storm that will cause cancellations, travel disruptions, and significant delays. Serious severe weather outbreaks with a high tornado risk would also fall under this category. Remember, if the dog is in the house you need to be on Terryswails.com
